3D PRINTING

There are various technologies used for 3D printing already present on the market – FDM; SLS; SLA, MJF, SHS, SLM, Color Jet, Poly Jet, and many more. Each one of these types is suitable for specific but various applications and uses multiple materials.

The common thing among all technologies is that the main concept of the manufacturing processes steps in the construction of elements or units by adding layers of material rather than being cut out of blocks of material (milling and turning).

3D SCANNING

The 3D scanning technology has the opportunity to analyze a real-world object, collect data on its shape and possibly its appearance (i.e. color) by scanning it and transferring it to a 3D model. This option eliminates the need to have a 2D sketch with exact and detailed dimensions and parameters or creating one from scratch without having any data. 3D scanning is more suitable and efficient for complex objects with often small details on the surface.

3D CAD MODELING

3D CAD model is the starting point of any project that requires 3D printing. The models serve as a base concept for printers after we treat them with the use of specialized software.

If you need a 3D model of a physical object with relatively simple geometrical properties, we can scan and transfer its dimensions to 3D even without sketches. For more complex units or elements, we would recommend our 3D scan service.

VACUUM CASTING

Vacuum casting is a technology which we use to manufacture short series (20-500 pcs.) of plastic parts, made from high quality polyurethanes in a matter of days. The biggest advantage is that there is no need to create highly complicated molds and tools (which is a very slow and expensive process) and the result is perfect strength and look & feel ready for your end users. When you need parts that exactly replicate your final product, vacuum casting is the right choice.

REENGINEERING

Reengineering is a combination of 3D scanning and processing of the information received from the scanner to an extremely accurate three-dimensional digital object model that is suitable for manipulation or production.

Once the object has been scanned, the operator collects all the data (from different angles and sides of the object) and combines them in a 3D model that can be altered in conventional ways.
