Material Jetting is a relatively uncommon technology for 3D printing. It uses ultraviolet light to process photopolymer material. However, the material is not distributed in layers, as with other technologies; but instead, it is injected in the form of small drops.
Material Jetting technology allows producing of very complex and high quality elements with very fine parts. Another great advantage of the technology, however, is that it can produce products combining several source materials and with more diverse properties. For example, rubber-like and solid polymers.
